TALON has been around since 2009 and to this day they are still coming out with new grips. They make grips for over 300 firearms! The main goal of TALON Grips is to provide a high quality firearm specific grip that combines function and aesthetic. As most individuals know, TALON has grips for most Glock s, S&Ws, Springfield’s, Ruger’s, ARs and even some shotguns, but what can we look forward to? After speaking with TALON I was able to get a little bit of info on what is to come.
First, it is noted that TALON has just released M&P Shield .45, Shockwave Technologies Raptor, Sig Sauer P320 X-Five, H&K VP9SK, and Springfield XD-E grips (the Shield .45 is available in Rubber while the rest of the grips are available in Rubber, Rubber-Moss, and Granulate). They have also opened up stores on Amazon and EBay to reach out to customers more easily.
The reason the Shield .45 and M&P M2.0 are only available in Rubber is that TALON came up with a special adhesive for their Rubber grips to make the grips stick better to the new texture on those firearms. This new adhesive may start to filter into other grips as well.
So moving on to what is to come, customers can look forward to a grip for the M&P M2.0 in Black Rubber. This grip is right on the cusp of production should be available in the near future.
Another grip that is slated to arrive is one for the FN 509! This grip is in the earlier stages of planning, but you can bet that it will be a hot seller once it arrives. No exact timeline on when the FN grip will arrive though.
It can be said that TALON is always evolving and improving for the better and with a score of 4.81/5 from the National Tactical Officers’ Association you know that they mean business.
