The Polymer80 frame project was by far one of my favorite projects. Completing a lower frame just gives you that extra credit when telling people you built the Glock. Check out my progress after the jump!
I started this project with a Polymer80 PF940C frame and a standard Glock 19 Gen 3 slide.
The PF940Cv1 is Polymer80’s next generation of polymer 80% frames for Glock® handguns, bringing improved ergonomics, features and looks to the popular Polymer80 frames.
But what fun is this using all stock parts? Let’s put the Zevtech Dragonfly slide on and Trjicon RMR that I got from Brownells. Much better! While we are at it, how about a Gemtech threaded barrel? Why not?!
The ZEV Technologies Dragonfly Slides were designed with tighter tolerances to increase accuracy & performance.
As tough as Trijicon’s legendary ACOG® scopes, the low-profile RMR™ (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) sight enables fast, both-eyes-open, target acquisition—even in poor lighting conditions.
The GEMTECH BBL-Glock threaded barrel provides proper and straightforward mounting of a suppressor.
And since I have the barrel I might as well toss on a Gemtech GM-9 for more fun!
The new GEMTECH GM-9 is a culmination of over two decades of center fire pistol suppressors
Ah, now that’s looking good!
It feels like I’m still missing something… I know, a trigger! I went with the exclusive Brownells Apex Tactical Enhancement Trigger.
The Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger for Glock® is a direct drop-in replacement of the factory polymer trigger and reduces pre-travel, overall trigger travel, and trigger reset, provides a smooth uptake and reset while delivering a crisp trigger break.
And that’s a finished Polymer80 build! A special thanks to Brownells and Polymer80 for joining in on this project.
